Divine

If the institutional church is large enough, it may have higher order ranks, ranks with specialized significance, missions, and hierarchy which has congregations composed of the common ranks/offices.

Titular Ranks: Titular ranks are those which indicate that the follower has been accepted to officially represents the church in preaching to other followers and leading others in worship. Typically the term ‘priest’ is applied to those who have accomplished this undertaking, graduating from institutional formal instruction. Offices all require the possessor to have a titular rank in order to best execute the purpose of the office. These individual offices have special requirements, grant special powers (both in addition to the base rank), and serve a specific function within the church.
