Groben’s Fist
A black studded gauntlet. It goes half way up the left forearm. It is always clean and dry, no matter what weather it is exposed to. Additionally, the studs are brightly polished. Groben – the mage that made it – was known for his fastidiousness. The gauntlet appears to be made of some form of black leather.

d20 [specific] Requirements: Occult Aptitude 1 OR 5 [Occult] Allotted Essence. If the wielder possesses this requirement, they can use any class spell slot and gain the power to cast Shocking Grasp without direst spell knowledge. They can also gain their Proficiency Bonus adjustment in damage when casting Shocking Grasp.
For LE only; d4/2 damage per round if not evil when holding it. The wielder gains +1 damage on lightning attacks, +1 attack spell attack, and deliver Shocking Grasp via the Mage Hand cantrip (wielder must possess knowledge of both) using any fist level wizard spell slot.

Groben was killed in CY 8444 in a wizard’s duel – or so it is recorded. His foe is unknown, and managed to destroy Groben utterly. It is said to have been revenge motivated. Groben was known for his many indiscretions with married women (and men!). All that was left was one of a pair of gauntlets – the left, which became known as Groben’s Fist.
