Dren’s Portage
Dren’s Portage is predominantly a fishing settlement. The large shallow lake and surrounding areas are rich in fish, crayfish, eels, and some mussels. Most of the lilies from the Lilylands are processed in Lily Rush for the elixir and special concoctions made from their pollen, nectar and parts. Materials in Calibans Slurry are reagents for this process, gathered from Dren’s Portage.

Shelltown
Shelltown is named for all the broken shells laying around. About 80% of the total population lives in it. ITs sprawling around the east edge of the portage. It has mussel farms galore. It has a boat building and repair facility, as well as a cartwright and blacksmith. The deputy sheriff/hetman has a jail here, as well as a meeting hall they live in – they handle disturbances, trade issues, and outsiders. They are on par in terms of authority with the Mayor, who oversees the normal day to day town duties.
