The military legacy of the Faer family is ensured through the establishment of the Brotherhood of the Golden Stag.
Businesses and representatives of the Bank of the Silver Stacks are allowed in some places here. The Sunbelt Merchants have a large presence here – running all the trade between Faer and the Grand Barony of Fandelok.
Symbol: The heraldry of Faer is three tall yellow pines, with the golden brown eyes of a mountain lion between them. Under each tree is a black paw print of the mountain lion, each nail dipped in blood.
Annals of the Faer: This is the chronicles of the de’Faer family of Dunstrand.
Vilracien (‘vil-ra-seen’) is a town of about 6000 folk at the base of some hills near the border of Faer and Bar-Innis. It’s known for its good beer and berry farms, and wool and is the ancestral seat of the Faer-Lammis family; the cavalier branch of the Faer family founded by the original Earl Faer’s brother.
Ruler: Count de’Faer; family de’Faer.
Piper and Wills Hoslters Cartel: This is the biggest trade interest in the entire county. They have a reach into the entirety of Dunstrand south of the Nanford River (except The Saelish and Bar-Innis). They are ruthless and once a competitor gets to be a certain size they act swiftly to force them to sell or take actions to sabotage their success.
