Game Master:
GM Roleplaying
- Consistency: Make sure the NPCs and PCs both are on an even playing field in terms of ultimate access to capabilities and rules which affect them. It is a good idea to delineate any changes you want in a Gaming Contract.
- Immersive Narration: Narrate something interesting and fun over letting a purely mechanics based resolutions end an interaction.
- Story over Mechanics: Adjust checks to enhance the fun – both in your favor and not. Its not good to radically change outcomes to force a group or character into a narrative or avoid consequences completely.
- Reward Role-playing: Engaging players AND Game Masters to role-play their characters creates memorable immersive experiences. This should serve as one means of Rewards for characters.
