The character gets an additional language equal to their natural intellect, at a basic fluency of 1. These along with those gained by Basic Communicator, are their primary languages. The cost to improve each is halved. A natural linguist who hears a language which is at least accessible to them (by physiology and cultural/social exposure), can make a check using their natural intellect to recognize it – though does not imply any understanding. Local dialects of the primary languages have any penalties reduced by half if the character can spend a few moments ahead of time listening to it in conversation.
