In the iVerse, the Faelen are part of the humanoid Faybrin genus. One of the original and oldest races of the cosmos, they are hearty, primitive and adaptive to a high degree.

The Humans were originally the Faelen, along with the Orrish (Feyrish blood) and Faerie (Elven blood). Clever and primitive, they are by far the most varied and least homogeneous of the Faybrin humanoids. Generally, they view their Orrish cousins as brutish and stupid, and their elven cousins as haughty and blindly arrogant entities.
