Pascil (Paas-Sill); Founded by a freebooter named Monty Pascil over 250 years ago. At its heart, the greatest of the castles of the Oldening, christened Pascil Keep.

Elven Grasslands to the north of Pascil. On the edge, acting as a trading town between Elf and Human is Midlan Vale.

Jordain [capital of Pascil] (county and city)

It is a place with lots of temples, with the River Beltran winding its way through. It is 45km away from the wastes – a dry steppe inhabited by nomadic tribes.

Bardot: A border trade town on the north edge of the wastes, on the bank of the Beltran river.

Barony of Belltram

5 villages and a city (capital)

Dashers Canyon: NE edge of the barony, at the outflow of a canyon out of the Empty Hills. At its mouth is the village of Nendalsen and several farmsteads that dot an old river flood plain, though now only a few creeks feed into a tributary to the Beltran.

Barony of Meket

A small town (capital; Springhollow) in the east of Jordain. Cattle grazing, and barley farming are the 2 biggest industries.

Haightravis (Free City)

It lies on the edge of the grasslands in the center of Jordain. It is a walled city that overlooks fields of grains, and orchards. The ruins of the original town – a hillfort in the hills to the south of the new city – are now ridden with bandits or worse.

Central to trade flow to the west is Torin’s Vale. The town by the same name occupies the vale. A thriving trade center 10km west of Haightravis it is a connection between 2 major trade routes.

Meritan

Melch has a sister-town 4.5km south called Meritan – where the vast majority of the logging in Jordain takes place.
