Rites of the Wyld Faith/Green Church
These are the powerful Wyld Rites practiced by followers of the wyld faith(s). Most of them are common to all. Like most rites of faith, they involve both ritual and ceremony, drawing upon their followers power and participation.
Penance
The most common form of penance is to lose the support of the community, the knowledge that the animist spirits can bring, and the loss of the “opening of the way” – a path to interacting with the associated creatures made easy by the spirits. This lasts for a short amount of time usually, a moon cycle or less. It does not require a formal Rite of Atonement.
