It is a primary reference point for navigation on Helca since it was first seen – hence its appellation of “The Navigators Gift”. Many stories abound of it guiding sailors and those lost in the woods back to safety.
It seems to change color in a dance (it is seen to wobble slightly in the sky). In CY 589, its seen to become even brighter, and the three points of light become only 2, though they seemed to glow brighter. It is surmised that this is connected somehow to the arrival of the Lightbringers in CY 590.
Few know it is more than one sun, as it appears to be just a flashing mote of light, visible even during times of the day. Learned scholars, some priests and magi understand it is multiple suns.
It is a binary star .25 light years away. The source of this constellation is tied directly to The World of Orlec.
