Ruins of Doinesh

[contentblock id=srlm-hdr] Doniesh as a center for learning and the faith or the Monks of Doinesh. As the Lich Lords swept west in the north, strong winds and floods were pushed in their path. Doinesh was nestled in a mountain valley. At the head was a slow and skinny waterfall. The lords of undeath drove the glaciers and snow, and the waterfall became a raging river and blizzard caused the snow and ice and boulders to rain down upon their followers.

The entire town was encased in water, ice and most of it frozen on the spot with the fell magics of the Winterhost. Massive boulders rained down on the library from above the falls, crushing it and then encasing it in ice – ruining thousands of years of accumulated knowledge. Many were locked in their homes, stuck to freeze and starve to death horrifically slowly.

The Monks of Doinesh

The Monks were Ikribu Light Worshipers, renowned for their monastic traditions. They practiced a new idea of “natural” fighting, and belonged to the “Akula” order of Monks of Ikribu. These monks value education, enlightenment, and knowledge in their spiritual journey.
