Raed River (dwarven fortress ruins)
The mighty Raed River fortress keep is a polluted, toxic ruin. Once manned by the dwarves with the Saelonai, it fought against the Sea King forces trying to take Dunstrand Vale. It survived an attack by a river that overflowed from the hills and crashed against its stone gates – but the gates were so finely crafted, they were water-tight. The Nurth eventually sacked it and tainted the land and stones. It is still lamented over by the inhabitants of the Enclave of Redlaen. For hundreds of years they have been saving the community money to try and get the soil and keep freed from its taint.
