Knights of the Steel Realms
The practice of knighting and sending forth knights is slowly passing from common use in the Steel Realms. It is a holdover from bygone days. Sheriffs, militia, constabularies and investigators are local solutions for maintaining law and order that have usurped the knight’s place. The title of knight is more an honorary and even landowner in many places, rather than an empowerment to pursue, arrest, and serve justice to criminals. Most knights possess weapons of exceptional quality, like Beryllide type armaments. Many knights come up from the Soldier’s Culture.
