Mirgue, Mistress of Ravens
Mirgue, said to be the daughter of Mizras and Elancil. She is queen of the ravens, choosing the dead which will watch over and give strength and courage to the living on the battlefield. She is a power unto her own right, especially venerated in the north and Nakria – where they venerate her as “Morrigan” and The Druunad know her as “Morguen”. This suggests she is older than the Grey Gods and even the Celestine era. She is the patron of the doomed, desperate and outnumbered. Her primary portfolio is courage, sacrifice and death. Her ravens carry the souls of favored warriors to the Halls of the Dead – unfailing. Warriors which give homage to her, though they worship another god, are assured of their passage through death. The can be made assured to not rise in undeath and be carried into death to find the eventual home their soul is destined for.
