Night of Thesune

Every 22 years (out of the 88 year cycle of the dark moon) is a holy time called the Night of Thesune. Thesune was a priest from the Third Dominion time that brought to the realms the quest of the Seekers Path. The human seekers were born under the moon and quested under the moon at 22 years into the Valley of Sighs. Under the three day peak of the moon, they sought for a sign that would lead them to forgotten knowledge dropped in the valley during the time of bloods. Many rumors are associated with such knowledge, including a way back to the home world of The Blood of Saemon. Powers were forgotten though, and heroes passed into legend. The quest was eventually abandoned after hundreds of years of failure.

To priestesses of Ezrilus, the Children of the Glitterfrost are (seemingly) randomly born on the 22 year cycle. Pale skin (sun has no effect), double the normal lifespan of a human, a pale blue mark on his chest where a soul gem would go on an elf. All of the High Kings Bards are aware when a new child of the Glitterfrost is born. It is said that the Glitterfrost children are reborn souls of Exilion.
