Escort the Justicar

CHRONICLE: PIN FEATHERS

Date @ Start Common Year 10-5-9168

characters at start: Ulrich, Danoir, Asil, Asaui, Atreus, Krespar

Date @ End Common Year 10-24-9168 There is a note pinned to the villa’s door with a single claw pinning it there, it reads “Meet us at the ruins where 2 half breed contested as soon as you can.” And, Feather says she has a summons from the lady of Lilymarch about escorting a noble family member to Monaides that will pay well – she is going to see her to inquire more. And you were going to hire a crew and try and plot a course through Scar Flow/Dwindor Swamp to get to the peak in the distance that Ulrich has seen in his visions…

[Asil]: We’re getting another escort quest request? Didn’t we pretty badly botch the last one? I mean, it was a freaking DRAGON, but still… dude was deader than dead. That’s not the best track record.

[Asaui]: I think it speaks well to our capabilities that we managed to save one of them from the wrath of a dragon.

[Asil]: Oh yeah the squire lived! I forgot. 50/50. Not too bad.

[Feather]: page, not even a squire. The request came in before the death happened. Word got out that you were willing to do escort duties. I’m going to explain the whole thing to the baroness, and it will actually work to cement getting the contract once I put my spin on it. Considering Lilymarch is hard core green church, the outcome was actually in your favor.

[Asaui]: Gotta love the spin…

Roger Reports to the Clergy of Light

Roger, the once scribe and page of the Justicar Gregoran, reports to the Lightbringers in Torrelson’s Ford. Since he actually did not witness much of the fight (thanks to Asaui) reports of the brave yet defensive stance the party took, and the damage (though he does not say it was incidental). He turns in the armor and items of the Justicar, extolling his virtues and prowess, and indicating the dragon WAS hurt. As his official page (he has the writ the justicar wrote when he picked his nephew up, entering him into the rolls), he retains a portion of his wealth. Understandably, he has no one to sponsor him as a knight in Torrelson’s Ford and offers to work in his previous capacity as a scribe for the church – this offer is accepted.

Outcome: Last Encounter with Bella

Note from Bella: Im afraid this is it. Threads have begun to unravel, and i will leave you to try and tie them together. I hope that its not too much of an inconvenience.

Visions from Bella: She may give them a warning if they part on OK terms… “Beware the creatures of singular vision, they see far but cannot see what is right in front of them. ”
