Troubles in Karolak….a Steel Realms campaign

– Second in command of the Guild of Solars in N merchant cities
> Corvis is an ambitious and driven magus. He is a martial magus (carries a magic sword!) but specializes in divination and summoning. He is known to loathe dealing with undead – perhaps even to the point of phobia. He views the Order of the Stone Hand upstarts and interlopers and has made it his mission to try and embarrass them and drive them out. He hopes to use this as a way securing his position as Guild Master when the current master, Mannis Wormtongue, retires.
Paul reveals a small part of the deal between the two magical brotherhoods and that his brotherhood was just used as a courier for House Malor. The idol was delivered to House Narcosa, in Karloak, and has apprently been lost by them as well.
We found an old trap door undiscovered by the others using the place for activities.
Unknown to the group, Gaius of House Narcosa is following leads to the tunnel entrance to the old drainage tunnels. He and his zombie minions are attacked by Simon and Paul, with traps and tactics driven back. Gaius is taken hostage trying to climb back into the warehouse above.

Paul makes a deal for himself to get a familiar summoned for him by House Narcosa as part of the ransom of the 2 wizards from House Narcosa.
The 2 wizards are forced to foreswear revenge on anyone in the group.
BACK PLOT SUMMARY:
1) Someone snuck into the NArcosa guild and stole the idol
2) Thieves tracked to a rented location – no trace of renters
3) Gentleman had a blue rose symbol – obscure domination order
4) Narcosa says their efforts have nothing to do with the collapsing of the old KArolak district accident – they were able to find a lead in all that though.

Map: 3 N-S sewer tunnels, middle one leading to area collapsed – path from warehouse in old docks. Collapsed west, but easy into darkness…
Clear Symbol – some domination guild or order in Karloak, origins are a Sea King magus order!
