The Wanderer

The Wanderer is the name given to an entity which has none, or rather many. It is many faced, its desires mysterious, its manifestation innumerable, and powers seem limitless. It can speak in many voices all at once – this seems to be its only defining characteristic that is consistent in the few records which may have noted it. Within any given setting in the iVerse multiverse, it is glimpsed and rumored about but rarely directly interacted with. Prime Entities can sense its presence, but do little to harm it. It may be that it represents some spontaneous cosmic manifestation of consciousness… for it definitely operates as if it had will and immediate goals and purpose. By default, it appears The Wanderer has a visage it employs: Cloaked Countenance – Unable to get any glimpse or hearing – the visage is always in shadows and talking is muffled.

The Wanderer has access to all memories that have ever existed.

Faces of the Wanderer

The Wanderer can, like a broken mirror, break off aspects that reflect and project images.

  • Innocuous Visage – Nondescript, blends into the background. People remembering them will have conflicting descriptions or ones so vague as to not be effective at describing anyone. If the identity, race, gender or any descriptive element would trigger a spell or power, it may be foiled.
  • Repulsive Visage – Terror
  • Toxic Visage – Harmful damage based on Charisma
  • Comforting Visage – Helpful healing based on Charisma
  • Assumed Visage – The entity changes their visage to be that of a specific target, effectively masquerading as them for all intents and purposes.

This entity is a strange Great God manifestation of one of the Greate Ones. It is part of the iVerse Principle Collective expression of Firster entities.
