The Shining Hills are a long and low ridge of hills in the Trahyl Forest are rich in nickel and iron. Many of the streams are tinted with red from the iron content. The southern edge of the forest they border grows Iron Oaks – massive, tall red oaks with wood as strong as iron and as flexible as wood, with silvery wires or veins of nickel running through them. Eir-Nadh (sunken plain in Westmarch of Dunstrand Vale)

Posted on April 18, 2024 in Steel-Realms

Steel Realms
Ei-Nadh is as massive uplifted plain in between the high peaks of Westmarch in the Vale of Dunstrand. Long ago it sank when the entire area slipped into the water and became Scar Flow. Although the peaks around it became occupied over the years by various creatures and beings, the open center of Westmarch is still shunned. Even by the Orrish of Dwindor, and the Witch of Dwindor it is not even hunted or fished. Strange lights and sounds are seen and heard there at random times throughout the years, and those seeking even peaceful passage through the area often go missing and are never seen again.
