Sira Parred makes his home at the Tower of the Stag in Monaides about half the year, as representative of the Lowland Council’s trade interests coming directly out of Bar-Innis and going directly to the Riverdans and beyond. His counterpart and balance is Sira Marley Duncan – herald of the Earl of Bar-Innis. Though they are often at odd in terms of taxes, tariffs and the economic policies of Bar-Innis, ultimately they are long time allies and respected acquaintances.
The other times he spends traveling the Lowlands negotiating the alliances there. He has several assistants and no set offices (for that would show favoritism) – keeping most of his records in Monaides and a few, in secret with the confidence of Taqwill, in the Companions Library at Braddon Bog.
Drafted the council’s terms for cessation of hostilities with Berrithor (delivered in Triumphant Return to Osmail Mark)

Good Luck + Purpose + Chi Pool + Temperature Tolerant (cold; aold elvish blood in her line)
Grace is from the Peregrine family, an old family SW of the city proper of Osmail Mark. They have tilled the land and have about a dozen tenants. Grace’s father – Sira William Peregrine – is no knight, but as a land owner, tax payer and ties to the history and support of the baron has been made an official “lord” of Peregrine estate and is considered a gentleman. Grace has 2 brothers living and a brother and sister dead. She entered the Baron’s service as a lady-in-waiting for the Baron’s daughter Matilda. In reality, she reported to her mother and father. Matilda was married very young and left – Grace did not want to leave and offered her services as a young woman to the Baron’s herald, Claude. Over the years she grew in her beauty, seductive techniques and wisdom – eventually inheriting Claude’s job – bypassing others with seniority (Adard Helpran and Keom Odway) and making a few political enemies in the process. The baron and his family trust Grace implicitly.
Post Civil War:
After the Baron’s wife passed away, she gradually grew in his trust. The baron has a son, and waited for him to come of age before taking Grace’s hand in marriage. She gets nothing but security – her son in law is well loved by her and he is affectionate back – there is no animosity, but titles all pass to him specifically.
Druidess of Dunstrand Vale
Description: half Nakrian
Minor: M’z’zt (insects), S’ssl’n (snakes), Wheyipuh (wulf), Rastur (casts)
Danis is the newly appointed druid to the western region of the Dunstrand Vale.
Cyseley (“Cy”) Aelishan
Heir to the title of Earl of Bar-Innis
Cy was born in Thindlevey (in Monaides), the product of the incestuous rape of Dierdre Aelishan by her brother Berithor. Her mother refused to tell her of her paternity, instead that her parents had been killed by disease and she was adopted by Dierdre. She goes by the last name “Teclaud” – given to her by her mother. Living in exile, and under the auspices of incest and rape, her father Berithor refused to have anything to do with her, and saw to it that she was not educated or treated in any way special; even to the extent of forbidding her doctors when she was sick. Dierdre finally took her daughter away from Berithor’s control and so the real root of the Civil War in Bar-Innis.
Christianna Vonelus is her closest friend – “auntie Christi”.
