A mudslide has exposed a cave along the face of Bale’s Ridge, a half day’s
walk west of Mev. The cave has a carved stone entrance; the sheriff is
calling for volunteers to explore the once-sealed ruins.
A force of mercenaries, lead by a knight errant of some kind, has burned a
village in Loamwold, retreating safely across the border to Umbak.
