Feather’s operating principles: The chaos and deaths of the new Gallants in Crestwold have taught Feather to never put all her eggs in one basket. She has no favorites, and sometimes detrimentally will choose a person who may not be the best choice for a role in an attempt to ensure she can survive the loss of any new member of the Gallantine Order. She is one two official Companion Marshals of the order – operating out of Crestwold. Her charge from Mary in the specific area is to create a secondary order house and presence so that not everything is tied to the Dogwood Flats location. She has inherited all the penchant for scheming and cold feelings of her mother. Her thoughts have driven her slowly mad from her birth – the memories of the celestine, her mother, and the swamp witch have had a noticeable impact on her. It takes all her will to keep the flood of madness at bay.

Darkvision

As an action, you can touch a creature and cause it to regain a number of hit points equal to your level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

You know the Light cantrip. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for it.
Necrotic Shroud
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing your eyes to turn into pools of darkness and two skeletal, ghostly, flightless wings to sprout from your back. The instant you transform, other creatures within 10 feet of you that you can see you must each succeed on a Charisma saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier) or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level.
Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Some of the ritual spells are written by feather; the ritual spell pages won’t open without the essence binding of the feat.
CY 9168 – post Red Sleeves death… Feather takes possession of Book of Elden Vale Familiars from the stores in the Villa and Bella speaks to her through it as Feather experiments with it. It is the only familiar that will not be driven insane by her own thoughts and mystic mental scars. Bella warns her that that there is a faction among The Gallantine Order that wish to topple Mary and take control of it. The apprentice of House Malor is part of this movement. He knows the ways of the magi of Dunstrand and is able to hide himself from their scrying… how it is not known and it is frustrating House Malor to no end. Bella says that he likely discovered the means through some tome in the hidden Library. When Bella was copying various information, she found hidden traps (explosive runes and the like) that he had set there. It also became apparent that he was setting up an alcove to use as a familiar chamber for teleporting. Such magics do not normally work, Bella even tried, but he must have found a way. The library needs to be destroyed. Whatever is in there, cannot be used. The prohibitions placed on taking items in and out by House Malor may able to be circumvented. No chances can be taken.
CY 9168 – The Tomes of Bittermaw were taken and kept secure by Atreus. Krespar Dubrov was asked to steal them by Feather on their way back to The Saelish, where Areeus was going to give them over to the Saelish Elders. Feather is taking them to the Companions Library.
