i20™ Sanity Details

i20 [specific] Requirements: / Cost _ CP/_ Essence

Sanity is nearly the same for every species and race. Any GM may determine how an attribute is generated, but the default method is point buy and Sanity is recorded as a set amount independent of all other processes.

  • All full-blooded races that breed true will start with a Santy of 11 unless noted.
  • Half or mixed bloods begin play with a Sanity of 10 unless noted.
  • At the time of Character Inception, a player may swap one of their stats with Sanity. Only those without penalty may be swapped.
  • Sanity increases through experience, reflecting a certain mental fortitude that is gained over time.

LEVEL-UP: The GM rewards a character a level based on Merit. By default, i20™ assumes by campaign milestone and limited by Experiences using Improvement Limits. Multiclassing follows i20 multi-class parameters in addition to the base requirements. Sanity increases by 1 every 4 character levels.
