Vezpyr (Language of the Glooming)

Vezpyr has “SPOKEN” and “WRITTEN” expressions of communication for the iVerse.

The “language” of the Glooming umbragena. This language also uses the modality of Cerebro-Languages, limiting those not capable to basic fluency. It is used by all creatures of the Nightmaria, shadowlands, shades, aetherwylds, and fell creatures tied to related places or creatures. Fiends understand it though do not speak it. It is the language of void magic and the dark arts as practiced as well. It is the root of the High Order language of Torquimat.

Origins: It is a form of communication adapted from the concepts and thoughts of The Void and The Outer Darkness – where its purest form is spoken.

Description: A language of hisses, huffs and harsh air flow making almost no use of vocal cords. It makes use of air through airways not normally used by most bodies, and is painful and often requires a pressure change in sinuses or even eye sockets. Its speaking often leaves a foul taste of ashes or similar flavors in the mouth of the speaker (and it can be smelled as such). It can cause bleeding and scratching on the communicator, and leaves a well of oily fluid in the mouth or other orifices when a full sentence-like structure is communicated. Hearing it for the first few times, or at high volumes or force can cause a crisis of Sanity, inspiring terror.

Maximum Levels of Expression/Communication: Physical (spoken) 5 [mastery]/ Inscribed (literate) 5 [mastery]
